Our moose hunts take place in far Northern Alberta during the Moose "calling season". Most of the hunts take place from mid September to mid October, when the rut is in full swing. The camp is situated along a majestic lake where the northern lights and wildlife are commonly seen while relaxing around the camp fire before retiring in our heated wall tents for the evening. When hunting these remote areas, most of the traveling is done on quads in order to bring you to the best hunting spots. We offer a six day hunt, with your choice of bow or rifle hunt. We hunt with a method known as spot and stalk. During the rut, moose are best located and stalked by calling. The moose can be called in up to 250 yards. Calling these monarchs of the North is one of the most exciting of all hunting techniques. The thrill of the chase all comes together when one of these monsters steps out of the dense forest.
