Our black bear hunts take place in Northern Alberta during the month of May. May is optimal hunting season for bears as they are just waking from hibernation and their coats are thick and shiny. The bears are hunted from baited tree stands which are accessed by quads. The tree stands offer the best hunting opportunity because it allows bears to come within just a few yards of your stand. We have many tree stand locations that we hunt through out the week. We use large variety of different baits to attract the bears. These black bear hunts are optimal for the first time hunter and bow hunter! To top it all off, each hunter has the opportunity to harvest two black bears when hunting in Alberta. This opportunity is absolutely exclusive to the province of Alberta. We highly recommend a hunt like to all hunters as there is consistent action at the bait sites. Not to mention, hunts like this have a great success rate!
